Before Another Day Is Gone

Really don't know what to write about tonight. I've been watching MacGyver reruns. Lovin' it! My favorites have been the Andy Griffith Show. I never really watched it when I was younger because it was always my perception that it was boring and old. But, now that I know better...

I appreciate the simplicity of life back then. There were bad people and sticky situations, like there are today and what interests me the most is how those things were dealt with. You actually saw the residents of Mayberry in church. Adults were in charge, not the kids. Children obeyed and respected their parents and authority. And, the adults did the right thing, even when the right thing to do was difficult, as it can often be. It's too bad that times are no longer as wholesome, as decent, as righteous.
