I finally graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division with my Diploma in Digital Design! Soooo happy! Graduation started to look iffy during the last month. Finances were tight. Actually, I haven't receive my diploma yet because I still have to pay off my school bill but all my courses are completed and I was able to grad with a 4.0 GPA. Of course I couldn't fly out to walk. Not only would it have been too expensive, but Nik's wedding was that same day. Her wedding was the whole reason I stayed in Maui this long. If it wasn't for that, I would've moved out to Texas long ago. It's a good thing I didn't do that either! With all the job cuts at the church this year, I probably would have lost my position entirely if I was out in Dallas full-time! As it is, I am still on staff, part-time, at 10hrs/wk. Thank you Jesus! God is good because I was also able to pick up a few extra hours at Easter Seals and am able to help my parents with Kumon again.
So most of the major stuff this month is pau; Nik's wedding, graduation, and the Christmas Production. Now all that's left is Christmas (at Grandpa's), Mochi Pounding, and New Year's (both at our house)! Yay! I can't wait for those! My family was supposed to go camping this month as well but we moved the date to February. That'll give everyone more time to plan, take off of work, etc.
I'm still waiting to see what the future holds for me in the graphic design world. I need to start applying for jobs. Ugh! Help me Lord! Well, until next time...
